WHAT IS THE ECO4 SCHEME?
First introduced in 2013, ECO4 or The Energy Company Obligation Scheme is a government-funded initiative designed to tackle fuel poverty and make UK homes more efficient. The scheme holds energy suppliers accountable, using the profits they have gained from energy-saving measures to fund home upgrades for insulation and green heating alternatives.
The latest version of the scheme launched in 2022 and is set to run until 2026, offering individuals the perfect opportunity to enhance their properties for a limited time.
So, who is eligible?
There are many circumstances that may qualify you for a free property upgrade, such as certain benefits, ill health and low income. To be eligible, your home must also undergo an energy assessment, which will determine how well your property performs currently and if the products under the scheme may offer any improvement. Once we know you’re eligible, we can help you submit your application and take care of all works that follow.

This could save you up to £310 a year on your energy bills! If you qualify, choose either loft or wall insulation. The best part? It’s completely free - there’s absolutely no cost to you!
